A 'cowlick' is a crazy bit of hair that is totally untameable. It's called a cow lick pretty much because it looks like a cow has come along and licked up your face and hair causing it to stick out at odd angles. Weird I know, but I happen to have three! Two at the front of my head that last week left my hairdresser very confused. My cowlicks make it quite tricky to get a straight parting and my hair sits where it wants to sit, no matter how much you tackle it with a comb. Oh and my third cowlick sits at the back of my head just for a little fun surprise. So even though these photos were taken right after I left the hairdresser, I had  to laugh at how crazy messy it had gotten! Not even a professional can get my cowlicks to sit flat!

This is my go-to dress for summer, an absolute favourite of mine. I thrifted it about two years ago and although its a few sizes to big, I love the loose fit and light weight fabric. Oh and the way it twirls! Im such a sucker for any dress I can spin in hehehe.
