Like Crazy...
"Immature love says: 'I love you because I need you.'
Mature love says 'I need you because I love you.'"
I can't imagine how many times I have said I've needed some new fashion related item.
"I need this to complete this outfit."
"I need something new."
"I need warm jacket, I love this one, it will work well!"
But some of the things in my wardrobe weren't something that I "needed" because it was a necessary addition,
but because there was just something about it I loved.
This object seemed to say something, hold more meaning than just adornment;
I needed it because I loved it not the other way around.
a brand with jewelery that told me a story before I knew that's what the makers had intended.
Initially drawn in by charming the website, it wasn't long before I was enamored with a number of pieces.
One that I kept thinking about long after I'd clicked away was the Pocahontas Turqoise Charm Bracelet.
I loved Pocahontas as a child and this bracelet simultaneously ignited nostalgia for the movie,
but also memories of playing in the natural playground that is New Zealand.
I felt like this bracelet would help me remember my connection to the earth even when I'm spending all day studying away from nature.
It may sound silly but that's what I thought about.
Ellen chose a necklace named Flor de Muerto named after the floral gifts that are left to honour friends and family that are no longer present
during the Mexican holiday The Day of the Dead.
Then when the two items (for now) arrived I was super impressed with the quality and the feel to them.
Perfectly crafted delicate pieces that had a lot of love in their creation and now will experience love in their purpose execution.
I know they are going to get a lot of wear (I've already worn the bracelet practically everyday this week)
and I plan on keeping an eye on their new arrivals list till I fall in love again.
