New Zealand Fashion Week - "NZ Weddings Show"

"If a woman smiles, her dress must also smile"...
- Madeleine Vionnet

All though fashion week is over here in New Zealand, we still have a tones of pictures to share with you!

Most of which are from the NZ Weddings Show.
In New Zealand, this is one of the biggest shows all week. It's the second year NZ has had a Wedding show featured at fashion week and this years was meant to be even better than last.

And yes,  we both scroed amazing front row seats at the Saturday show. The room was packed and the show did not fail to disappoint the crowd.

The show featured many popular designers and we managed to snap some gorgeous shots of the gowns.

The above dress is a beautiful gown from Sera Lily. Sera Lily is well known at Fashion weekend and her gowns certainly matched her reputation. The beautiful gowns just spilled down the catwalk, the model decked out with gorgeous makeup and flowers in their hair.

The Zimmerman's collection opened the show. With its glamorous head pieces and sparkling Jewell encrusted gowns, it was a brilliant way to open the show.

Although there was something to love about every garment, we found that Anna Schimmel was our favorite of the day. Her gowns just flooded the runway, the beautiful fabric moved like water. The classic white fabrics and beautiful chiffon, was mixed with stylish new shapes and lengths. We were both simply amazed by this designers work and felt that every garment deserved its own show!

Odes was the next collection that blew our minds. The photos above show off the collection bright colours and beautiful flowers. It was a nice change from the white and had looks for people of all ages. Shout out to all the little cuties who walked the runway!

The gowns above are just a few more of our favorites.

And of course it wouldn't be a wedding show with out that little black wedding dress.
It was certainly a gorgeous way to change up the classic white wedding dress. They pulled it off perfectly, even with such a dark colour they still managed to make it look feminine and cheerful.

So that's a little look at the 2011 NZ Fashion Week Weddings Show.
