How to Wear All Black and Not Be Boring

If you can't already tell, I'm a big fan of the all black outfit. I recently posted another all black outfit from our trip to Hamilton for bloggers brunch club. Well, I went to Hamilton again this weekend with Britney, and couldn't resist stopping by some of my favourite stores. This time I picked up this jumpsuit from Ruby. It was on sale, the last one in the country, and it fitted perfectly. So after some encouraging words from Britney, I made an impulse buy.

I think the trick to wearing all black comes down to a few points. Mixing different fabrics or textures like adding knits or leather elements always help add dimension. This, combined with layering keeps the look from looking too flat. If it's warmer and layering isn't an option, accessories always help bring the look together. Whether through some jewelry, a nice bag, or some bright lipstick and nails, I think it makes the outfit less like walking black hole haha.
