How to Dress for Dinner Out - What I Wore

I am definitely one to always overdress, and I jump at any chance to throw on a good pair of heels and a nice dress. I did exactly that when I went out for dinner with some friends the other week. I pulled together this outfit in a rush and actually really loved how it came together. When I'm going out for dinner I always like to go for a simple tidy dress and a crazy pair of shoes. Since you're sitting down eating food 90% of the time, it's a good opportunity to whip out those heels that are tricky to walk in. To finish off the look I added my favourite coat and a small ladylike clutch that was just big enough for everything I needed.
