Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC : Review
Ellen found this Rebecca Minkoff Mini M.A.C on the Designer Wardrobe site a little while ago and made the mistake of showing it to me. Seven days later, I was the proud new owner of this black leather + silver hardware beauty. I've been looking for a small cross-body bag for a while now, and I was having a 'treat yo self' moment after handing in my thesis. Ellen shared her Micheal Kors bag find a few weeks ago ( x & x) which she also picked up of Designer Wardrobe, and was kind enough to let me have this swoop in on this score.
I love the RM details on this bag that keep it from being too simple. The clip at the front, the studded strap, the chain with cool triangular claps, the tassels; it's love <3. The fact that the hardware was all silver was the tipping point for me as the combo of silver & black leather is definitely something I feel like is 'my style' (like my choice of Frends headphones). The Mini MAC can be worn cross-body but I do find it sits a little high up on me compared to pictures I'd seen online, possibly because I'm reasonably tall (175cm). The bag is nicely lined and well constructed so I can see myself having this little guy for a long time to come.
