How can I Afford a Designer Bag?

Ever since I was a young girl, I have had a love affair with designer handbags. Unfortunately neither my paper run money nor pocket money from washing mums car was ever quite enough to purchase one so I was limited to ogling the ones in magazines. Last week however I fulfilled that little girls fantasy and bought myself my first designer handbag!! Alas I did not win lotto, and yes I am still a university student, but I was able to afford this beauty second hand. 

Designer Wardrobe is a New Zealand online designer marketplace where you can sell, buy and rent pre-loved designer items. I have been perusing Designer Wardrobe for a wee while now but when I discovered this Michael Kors bag, I couldn't believe it. A new season 'Greenwich Tote' retails at around $700NZD and end of season styles can be found on sale at about $300-400. This bad boy cost me only $200. Now that is definitely still an expensive bag for me, but it is something that will last forever.
