University/College Fashion Trend : The Parka Jacket

After spending 13 years in a school uniform, I love being able to wear what I want to university. Funnily enough, though we may be free of school uniforms, a lot of us university students end up wearing the same thing. One quick walk around uni and you can easily pick out the biggest trend of the season. Since the cold weather kicked in, there has been a definite increase in appearances of the parka jacket. 

You may have spied this little parka making an appearance in our capsule wardrobe video. This jacket has become my new best friend, and I've been wearing it non-stop for the past two weeks. I have looked at parka jackets in the past, but this one particularly stood out to me. I love the gold detailing, the detachable furry hood, the warm padding (that's not too bulky) and it has pockets big enough to fit my giant phone in it!
