Cotton On Queen Street Store Opening
"Shopping is my cardio" - Carrie Bradshaw
This week we had the opportunity to take a tour of the new central Auckland 'Cotton On' Queen Street store. The store is the biggest in New Zealand and has hidden gems everywhere. Around every corner is something that will catch your eye. Whether it be the clothes themselves or the cool feature walls and decor. We've never seen anything so big for a single brand in New Zealand, so it was certainly a treat to have a peek around the store with fellow NZ bloggers and media. We even got an awesome personalised t-shirt, how cool is that? We took A LOT of photos, but managed to cut it down to a few favourites. We also included a few cheeky media shots of us and our derp faces.
If you're still not convinced, we narrowed it down to the three things that really caught our eye:
1. Cotton On Body / The old Cotton On Body store on Queen Street was compltely cramped and we often felt the racks were about to fall on top of us. The new store features a huge corner dedicated to pajamas, active wear and underwear. We lost count of how long we spent drooling over the active wear.
2. CO. by Cotton On / With Topshop opening soon on Queen St we had our doubts Cotton On would be able to compete. That is until we discovered the CO range hidden on the lower floor. This line is right up our alley and is full of chic stylish pieces that are super on trend. It was a definite highlight for us and most of the fashion bloggers.
3. The Denim Station / Cotton On put on a great presentation on their key trends for this coming season. One of them was of course denim. There new 'denim station' features a huge range of shorts and jeans in every style and shade imaginable. Tara spied a pair of distressed shorts she is dying to go back and try.
We got a little snap happy, so here are a few more things that caught our eye.
If you're in Auckland, even if your not a big shopper, the pure design of the store is well worth a look.
