Tara's new haircut: The "lob"

If you follow me on instagram you may have noticed I got a haircut last Friday. I have had long hair for a very long time and only last year made a drastic (for me) chop to mid-length. Ellen had to deal with my usual process of hating it then coming to love it, but somehow over this time I've become less attached to my hair (it will always grow out) and I was keen to try going even shorter. The other possibility is that seeing so many photos of various celebrities and women rocking the "lob" (long bob) finally helped me find the confidence to give it a go. This haircut and I are still going through an acclimation period, i.e. I don't really know what to do with it yet, but given time I think we can work it out.

Who knew looking for hair related quotes would be so entertaining? When I was looking for one to go with this post I found many I wanted to include that made me laugh. But alas there could only be one and it is possible I only find them funny because while I'm writing this it is late and I've had uni/assignments all day. I guess after a good sleep we shall see how hil-hair-ious they actually were (oh dear better go to bed)
