The Skinny Jeans story
"I'm like every other woman: a closet full of clothes, but nothing to wear: So I wear jeans." - Cameron Diaz
A good pair of skinny jeans are still very much a wardrobe staple, even after being around for so many years. For the past couple of years I've needed a new pair that actually fitted but never managed to find the time nor the budget to get a decent pair. Ellen needed the perfect modelesque pair for a photo-shoot and surprisingly found a good selection at the Esprit at dressmart. So I went down there one afternoon as part of an extended study break which also included having an awesome lunch at Orleans for a friends birthday (omg such good food and icea tea!! *drools at memory*). Sophie from nanawintour wrote about Orleans and other great Auckland food places in her 'auckland eats' post today if you're interested.
button up shirt - Garage (from The Warehouse)
leather jacket - Just Jeans
polka dot beanie - Karen Walker
sovereign case - antique
suede boots - Play Motives
jeans - Esprit
On that trip I had massive jean shopping success (even though their sizes were confusing with waist and leg measurements) and bought two pairs for $60 #bargain!
I've been wearing them a lot lately. This particular outfit was one I wore to an exam and ended up overheating in the room but being cold in transit (Isn't that always the way with lecture theatres in winter?).
