What we wore: To the beach

Over our new years holiday, our time spent at the beach resulted in untameable salt crazed hair and sandy wet bikinis. No, not quite as glamorous as those perfectly airbrushed Victoria's Secret commercials. Before the salt hits us, we like to at least spend that walk to the beach feeling the part. So we both put together these beach looks. Without even discussing it, we both put on a pair of shorts. Shorts are definitely an easy item for the beach to slide over your bikini. For the top half, baggy tops add the effortless and relaxing feel you get from visiting the beach. Bright bikins add another layer to your outfit and are super fun. Tara also carried all our beach essentials (hello Vogue) in a new moustache + neon beach bag. Both of our outfits were created from the depths of our small travel bags as we were limited to the few clothes we packed. But that's what makes a beach outfit so great; its pretty much made up of only three items.

We are back home now, and as frustrating it is to be still finding sand in things, we very much miss the relaxing summer time that is the annual beach holiday *dramatic music plays as we get lost on memories* More photos coming soon!
