Twinning in Windsor

We may be 'fashion bloggers', but sometimes we are a little slow to invest in trends. We have observed the sudden domination of Windsor Smith shoes with interest over the past few months. Rapidly, the signature chunky sandals have been invading our shores, and have somewhat become the new 'it' shoe replacing the throne once held by Jeffrey Campbell. At first we were not at all convinced. Every girl seemed to have these shoes and we tried not to be ones to follow the crowd. But slowly those leather tassels found  a way into our hearts, and now here we are in matching Windsor Smiths!

This particular style is the classic 'Chunk' (ermehgerd tassels!!). We are all used to crazy new 'it' shoes that you can't walk in (insert mental picture of towering heels). But these babies are totally wearable, made with soft leather, and practical for a day of running about! We are very quickly bringing down the cost-per-wear, so even if it's a passing trend these are a purchase already showing their worth.
