Amusing wet weather...

It's quite a challenge keeping up with the weather in Auckland. I woke up the other day planning to wear a skirt and my new jellies, and the next thing you know it was pouring down with rain. An outfit change was needed stat! With the bus only 15 minutes away I quickly threw on boots and jeans with a sigh of disappointment. Throughout my day however my attitude changed and I started to really love my outfit. The colours seemed to work together perfectly, and I loved the subtle exciting details of the backwards cardigan, braided belt and lace up boots. So there I was, strutting through town feeling quite proud of my little 5 minute outfit, them bam! I fell over on my butt #facepalm I'm not the most coordinated person in the world, hence when I see rain I go for sturdy boots with good grip that guarantee my butt staying off the ground. My favourite Novo boots failed me this time, giving way under me. Funny thing, I slipped on those little raised yellow dots at some traffic lights (meaning maximum exposure to general public), but aren't those things meant to stop you from slipping in wet weather??

I get some funny looks whenever I wear this cardigan but it only makes me love it more. When I wore it to work one 
Sunday some of the other girls thought it was the most hilarious thing ever and proudly wore their cardigans
 backwards for the afternoon too.
