Childhood nostalgia, but can you be nostalgic for your childhood if you're still a child at heart?

"The secret of genius is to carry the spirit of the child into old age, which mean never losing your enthusiasm."

Do you remember when you were a kid and you chose your outfit based
on individual items you loved without considering the whole picture?
You choose soft and cozy textures, appealing colours and glittery things.
The resulting outfit was one you were so happy to be wearing since
each component in isolation could make you smile.

Today I channeled some of that enthusiasm.
A beautiful soft amazing smelling leather jacket,
a cozy jersey dress that swished past my legs with each step,
my favourite new shoes with a small heel cause I'm a grown up and that's what they wear,
a bright happy lime scarf with gold thread that glitters throughout,
and lastly an assortment of my go to jewelry at the moment.

Though it came together looking better than most of the creations in my childhood,
it was nice to think back to those days when getting dressed wasn't so much about what it looked like but how it felt.

Till next time...
