Ellen has done a post about Pretty Little Liars before,

and after watching the latest episode i felt inspired to make my own,

concentrating particularly on the style of Spencer Hastings.

Spencers style of dress is rather men's wear inspired

with practical preppy pieces,

mostly in beautiful deep shades of navy and reds.

Her slightly minimalistic cuts are offset by mixing textures and simple jewelery

and layering these to create interesting looks.

To complete the whole thing she has simple natural looking makeup

with emphasis on eyelashes and often a slight red to the lips.

I chose to go for the more relaxed hair with natural loose curls,

rather than the many plaited looks I've seen Spencer wearing but would love to try out.

with the addition of a textbook to get that studious

academic look that Spencer seems to exemplify..
