End the beginning with a bang: NZ Fashion Festival, a new season is coming...

New Zealamd Fashion Festival was a week packed to the max with fashion and fun. Models brought the "it" looks for the season to the runway and rocked it but all fun must come to an end and despite the rain the Osborne st "Catwalk on the Street" went ahead.

The rainy saturday weather did not in anyway effect the fashion show. A little rain never hurt anyone right?well at least not the models who came strutting down the middle of Osborne street, stopping traffic hand in hand with an umberella to sheild their outfits.

From Ralph lauren and Taylor to Dotti and the warehouse, Stores around Newmarket bought the best to the runway.

Some who deserve a little shout out:

Everyone on the street awwed when this little girl made an appearence on the runway.

Making freezing cold fashionable.

My favourite desiner?

Andrea Moore.

The clothe from Andrea Moore were a bright break on the runway, the colour palete was beautiful, especially the scarlet colour, which never gets old.

Over all her little collection was well put together, young, fresh and had everything you want for this winter.

Some trends off the runway:

Number one trend I spotted? Fur collars. It will be a statment this winter and keep you nice and toasty, so personally i dont see a flaw in this fashion peice.
